Signed, sealed, delivered!
Okay, maybe signed, sealed and enroute to it's destination is more like it but good-fricken-bye to the regulatory return and hello camping!! :)
We leave for Algonquin tomorrow for four days of fun in the sun, and if you couldn't tell by now - I'm pretty excited.
As part of the trip we're also planning to do some Geocaching.
Kev got an early birthday present from my family yesterday, it included a bear knife. Yes, you read that correctly, a bear knife, and just in case you missed it, this is especially funny because he was just saying earlier in the day that this guy is his hero and wondering if he should buy a bear knife for our trip.
I'm just going to hope we don't encounter any black bears. Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Oh... and really, it was Sam (the dog) that was the hero ;) Sam (an American Staff... falls into that dreaded 'pit bull' category) distracted the bear and took the inital attack, allowing Tilley the opportunity to jump on its back to stab it. ;) (I love animal stories *laugh*)

Actually... what I got is more of a utility knife but I'll make do with what I've got. :)
This would be a hunting knife and this would be more the sort of thing I'd want to take on a bear with.
But they got me more than one so as long as I've got one in each hand and can hold onto the fur with my teeth, I should be good to go. :)

I'm pretty sure one of the knives in the set you got looked like it came right out of Rambo... but whatever... it's not like I'm going to stick around to care which knife gets used. ;)
